Why MetallicX Was Founded

MetallicX was founded with one clear mission: To deliver an uncompromising Metallica tribute experience. In a world where many tribute bands focus mainly on the biggest hits, we saw an opportunity to go deeper.

Metallica’s legacy is not only built on songs like Enter Sandman or Nothing Else Matters. It is built on decades of technical thrash metal, complex arrangements, and aggressive live performances that defined an entire genre. That is the Metallica we wanted to bring to life on stage.

From the very beginning, the goal was not to become just another Metallica cover band in the Netherlands, but a band that could recreate the full spectrum of Metallica’s music — from early thrash to modern stadium anthems.

Bjorn “Papi Het” Bolder – Vocals & Rhythm Guitar
Frontman and rhythm guitarist, Bjorn drives the band with powerful riffs, strong stage presence and a deep understanding of Metallica’s aggressive rhythm work.
